Further to the workshop, which took place in November 2008, BASSCOM is organizing a 2nd Workshop on EU Acqius in the field of ICT, under ICTtrain project (more information - http://www.basscom.org/content.aspx?mi=2&smi=6&lan=EN).

The workshop will take place on 28 March 2009 in Park Hotel Gardenia, Bansko.

The Agenda is structured in panels and will particularly focus on:

• EU e-business & e-security policies and regulations;
• Practical aspects of ICT associations - services to members and role in national ICT projects & policies;
• Funding opportunities and EU programs for the support of ICT research & innovation;

Again, Q&A sessions are meant to respond to company specific needs and provide practical information on how EU acquis might affect company business.

The working languages of the workshop will be English and Bulgarian.
